With 10 finalists to compete, there are total 3 groups come from NTU, with two of them are totally consisted of Indonesian students. A more astonishing fact is that these two groups, competing with international students from Singapore, China, Malaysia, and many other countries, smashed the two top prizes. Wow!
Consisted of three members – Kevin, Stephen, and Rhesa, The Jamming Steak really stunned the audience of The Republic Cultural Centre with their amazing collaboration of pop singing, beatboxing, and a guitar arrangement. They go home with S$2000 in hand after performing beautifully two songs, Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You and Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Not just a talent show, Saman PINTU (Pelajar Indonesia NTU) has proven that traditional dance can be something that entertaining and very cool. As one of cultural club of PINTU in NTU, this eight-year-old-club has shown that Saman Dance is not just an ordinary show. With Indra as Syekh (lead singer), Ferry as drummer, and dancers consisted of Falah (Manager), Nurina, Tessa, Isti, Dhika, Laras, Ridwan, Henry, and Dimas, Saman PINTU goes through the elimination round and reach Second Prize on the Final.
